In her project, Floating Point, Tiffany Holmes studied trans-disciplinary methods of information analysis in the context of making pollution data accessible and informative to the general public—through art and performance.
The broader goal of the proposed research is to creatively design art that promotes sustainable and ecologically responsible modes of living, and a general awareness of both local and global water quality issues.

Floating Point was created during an Artists-In-Labs residency at the Swiss Federal Institute of Techology.
